In Thursday's league challenge, the Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) baseball squad triumphed over the host AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY), by a margin of 17-0.

With the win, Peru betters its record to 13-1 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY) to encounter the Hornets in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Saturday, May 7.
