The Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) baseball trounced the host Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ), 14-5 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cobras play the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 12. Cactus will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ).

The Coyotes now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host American Leadership Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 15. Combs will play a Patriots squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
