Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Northgate knocked off by Fort Cherry
February 8, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15202 The Fort Cherry Rangers basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Northgate Flames to 57 in the Rangers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rangers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlynton for a WPIAL 2A 2 contest on Wednesday, February 9. Fort Cherry will meet a Cougars team coming off a 60-36 league win over Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 16-1.
The Flames (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Sto-Rox ran past Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA), 66-36, in a league contest.
