Indiana High School Basketball - Monroe Central nips Hagerstown

December 16, 2023: Hagerstown, IN 47346

Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN), 63-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to South Adams (Berne, IN) to play the Starfires in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Starfires go into the bout with a record of 1-5. South Adams lost 45-29 in their recent league bout against Heritage (Monroeville, IN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Hagerstown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
