The Robbinsville Black Knights basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Cherokee Braves to 49 in the Black Knights league victory on Thursday.

The Black Knights now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrews for a 1A Conference 43 contest on Friday, February 4. Robbinsville will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-32 non-league win over Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-10.

The Braves (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets come into the 1A Conference 43 contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Hayesville prevailed over Swain County (Bryson City, NC), 80-55, in a league contest.
