The Cowan Blackhawks routed the host Monroe Central Golden Bears softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Blackhawks (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Centerville topped Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN), 5-3, in a league battle.

The Golden Bears now sport a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Delta for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 26. Monroe Central will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 27-10 league loss to Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-12.
