With the victory, Sam Houston improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Acadiana (Lafayette, LA) to confront the Rams in a 5A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Acadiana lost 54-32 in their recent league challenge against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)
Next up, the Bears confront the Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA) in a 5A District 3 challenge, on Monday, January 22. Carencro will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 45-29 league loss to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA).
