The Salina Central Mustangs basketball team (Salina, KS), was nudged 51-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the host South Cougars (Salina, KS)

The Cougars now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hutchinson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. South will battle a Salthawks team coming off a 50-44 non-league win over Buhler (Buhler, KS). The Salthawks record now stands at 2-0.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Goddard edged Buhler (Buhler, KS), 45-39, in a non-league battle.
