Illinois High School Basketball - Lane Tech nips Taft
December 8, 2023: Chicago, IL 60631 Lane Tech Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 53-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Lane Tech upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Lane Tech travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to play the Lemont HS in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Lemont HS go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Lemont won 57-46 in their recent league bout against Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 73-13 non-league win over Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL).
