Illinois High School Basketball - Minooka trounces Shepard
February 8, 2022: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) basketball crushed the host Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL), 75-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (17-9) will now prepare for their test against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes go into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 8-18 record. In their last test, Yorkville was trounced by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 52-48, in a league test.
The Astros now own a 10-18 record. They play next when they host Evergreen Park for a South Suburban test on Friday, February 11. Shepard will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 80-71 non-league win over Marist (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-9.
