South Dakota High School Basketball - Aberdeen Christian tops Groton
January 11, 2022: Groton, SD 57445 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD) and the host Groton Tigers (Groton, SD), saw Aberdeen Christian's basketball squad knock off Groton by a count of 55-38.
With the victory, Aberdeen Christian upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Wakpala (Wakpala, SD) to play the Sioux in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 13. The Sioux come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Wakpala won 78-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Dupree (Dupree, SD)
Next up, the Tigers play the Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Groton will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the battle with a 7-0 record after their 45-34 non-league win over Faulkton (Faulkton, SD).
