In Friday's league game, the Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) football team were victorious over the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), by a score of 48-24.

The Blue Bombers (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Blue Raiders come into the Colonial-Schuylkill - Red game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Tamaqua knocked off Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA), 23-13, in a league game.

The Spartans now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Salisbury Township for a Colonial-Schuylkill - Red game on Friday, October 20. North Schuylkill will meet a Falcons team coming off a 31-0 league loss to Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-8.
