November 10, 2023: Concord, NC 28027 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Davidson Day Patriots (Davidson, NC) and the host Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), saw Davidson Day's basketball squad hold off Cannon by a count of 64-61.
With the victory, Davidson Day upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Patriots host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to play the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 14. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Queen's Grant lost 74-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC)
Next up, the Cougars play the Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 11. Cannon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Furies come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 76-56 non-league win over Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC).
