The Fitch Falcons basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Waterford Lancers to 37 in the Falcons league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Bernard for a non-league contest on Monday, January 17.

The Lancers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Montville ran past Windham (Willimantic, CT), 42-39, in a league contest.
