The Walnut Ridge Bobcats basketball team (Walnut Ridge, AR), was overwhelmed 64-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR)

The Greyhounds now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melbourne for a 3A Region 2 battle on Friday, January 20. Salem will confront a Bearkatz team coming off a 58-27 league win over Tuckerman (Tuckerman, AR). The Bearkatz record now stands at 7-5.

The Bobcats (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 2-7 record.
