The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) basketball knocked off the host Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA), 79-65 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bishops (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Highland went down by Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA), 71-69, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a Virginia Independent outing on Tuesday, January 18. Hargrave Military Academy will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 70-43 league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 7-3.
