South Dakota High School Basketball - Vermillion overwhelms Parkston
January 6, 2023: Vermillion, SD 57069 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) and the visiting Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD), saw Vermillion's basketball squad wallop Parkston by a tally of 62-34.
With the victory, Vermillion improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Tanagers travel to Madison (Madison, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Madison won 50-46 in their recent league challenge against Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD)
Next up, the Trojans play the Wagner Red Raiders (Wagner, SD) in a A Region 5 test, on Thursday, January 12. Parkston will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record.
