The Midland Trail Patriots routed the host Richwood Lumberjacks basketball team by a final score of 86-35 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a Coalfield AA game, on Thursday, January 26. Midland Trail will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 56-40 league win over Independence (Coal City, WV).
