January 19, 2024: Oxford, MA 01540 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA) and the visiting Quaboag Regional Cougars (Warren, MA), saw Oxford's basketball squad overcome Quaboag Regional by a tally of 62-46.
With the victory, Oxford improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Prouty (Spencer, MA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Prouty won 70-67 in their recent league challenge against Southbridge (Southbridge, MA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Leicester Wolverines (Leicester, MA) in a South Worcester County - B challenge, on Monday, January 22. Quaboag Regional will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 51-32 non-league loss to Millbury (Millbury, MA).
