January 25, 2024: Southbridge, MA 01550 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA) and the visiting Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA), saw Southbridge's basketball squad overcome Oxford by a tally of 66-50.
With the victory, Southbridge improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 4-9.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Leicester Wolverines (Leicester, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 61-38 non-league loss to Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA).
