The Palos Verdes Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 73-63 in Friday's league test.

The Panthers (23-1) will now prepare for their test against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs go into the Bay test with a 9-15 record. In their last test, Mira Costa was beaten by Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA), 73-68, in a league test.

The Sea Kings now own a 14-10 record. They take the field next when they host Redondo Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 8. Palos Verdes will clash with a Sea Hawks squad coming off a 50-40 non-league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA). The Sea Hawks record now stands at 12-12.
