January 22, 2022: Snellville, GA 30078 The South Gwinnett Comets basketball team (Snellville, GA), dropped 60-46 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA)
The Tigers now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowcreek for a AAAAAAA Region 7 battle on Tuesday, January 25. Archer will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to Shiloh (Snellville, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-11.
The Comets (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams come into the AAAAAAA Region 4 battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Newton prevailed over Brookwood (Snellville, GA), 81-55, in a league battle.
