The Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) volleyball nudged the host Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Assumption upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Knights host Clinton (Clinton, IA) to face the River Kings in a Mississippi outing on Tuesday, September 12. The River Kings go into the outing with a record of 1-9. Clinton lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Davenport West (Davenport, IA)
