North Carolina High School Basketball - Huss routs West Mecklenburg

February 7, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28052

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 77-47.

With the victory, Huss upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Huskies host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a 3A Big South bout on Friday, February 9. The Storm come into the bout with a record of 6-15. Stuart W. Cramer lost 82-56 in their recent league bout against Crest (Shelby, NC)

Next up, the Hawks play the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City bout, on Friday, February 9. West Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 67-62 league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC).
