Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC), saw West Charlotte's basketball squad wallop West Mecklenburg by a tally of 63-29.

With the victory, West Charlotte improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC) to confront the Titans in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge on Friday, December 15. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Hopewell won 70-63 in their recent league challenge against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge, on Friday, December 15. West Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 71-18 league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC).
