In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Chambers Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 78-35 triumph over the West Charlotte Lions.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City match, on Friday, January 19. Chambers will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Mavericks enter the match with a 5-10 record after their 59-47 league win over Hough (Cornelius, NC).
