The West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 67-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hawks (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams go into the 3A/4A Queen City test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Harding University was trounced by Hough (Cornelius, NC), 70-54, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Rocky River for a 4A Southwestern test on Friday, January 19. Garinger will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 64-55 league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 7-10.
