Kansas High School Basketball - Manhattan knocked off by Topeka
February 1, 2022: Topeka, KS 66612 The Topeka Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Manhattan Indians to 56 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emporia for a Centennial contest on Friday, February 4. Topeka will meet a Spartans team coming off a 55-53 non-league loss to Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The Spartans record now stands at 2-13.
The Indians (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Junction City (Junction City, KS). The Bluejays enter the Centennial contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Junction City ran past Seaman (Topeka, KS), 66-64, in a league contest.
