The Cholla Chargers (Tucson, AZ) football defeated the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), 30-19 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Sonoran bout, on Saturday, October 29. Cholla will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 21-6 league loss to Marana (Tucson, AZ).
