The Ledyard Colonels basketball team (Ledyard, CT), was nudged 63-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT)

The Beavers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goodwin Tech for a battle on Tuesday, January 3. Cheney RVT will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 53-33 non-league loss to Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-3.
