Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 68-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Oceanside upgrades its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Leavitt (Turner, ME) to play the Hornets in a B South bout on Thursday, February 8. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 3-14. Leavitt lost 56-36 in their recent non-league bout against Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME)

Next up, the Black Raiders play the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Winslow will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 55-45 non-league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
