The Star Valley Braves (Afton, WY) basketball nipped the visiting Cody Broncs (Cody, WY), 53-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Braves (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Riverton (Riverton, WY). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Riverton got by Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY), 68-66, in a league test.

The Broncs now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Hole for a 4A Southwest test on Saturday, February 4. Cody will encounter a Broncs squad coming off a 68-66 league loss to Riverton (Riverton, WY). The Broncs record now stands at 10-4.
