Indiana High School Basketball - Rensselaer Central overwhelms Hebron
January 31, 2009: Rensselaer, IN 47978 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN) and the visiting Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN), saw Rensselaer Central's basketball squad trounce Hebron by a count of 52-25.
With the victory, Rensselaer Central upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Delphi (Delphi, IN) to play the Oracles in a Hoosier challenge on Saturday, February 7. The Oracles come into the challenge with a record of 2-12.
Next up, the Hawks play the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) in a Porter County challenge, on Friday, February 6. Hebron will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 49-34 non-league loss to Wirt (Gary, IN).
