Indiana High School Volleyball - South Adams over Winchester Community
August 18, 2022: Berne, IN 46711 In Thursday's non-league contest, the South Adams Starfires (Berne, IN) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Starfires battle the Eastbrook Panthers (Marion, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 23. South Adams will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Adams Central (Monroe, IN).
With the loss, Winchester Community drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Golden falcons travel to Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 20. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Randolph Southern lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Blackford (Hartford City, IN)
Match Summary
The Lady Falcons traveled north this evening and faced a very quick, talented South Adams team losing in 3 - (13-25) (12-25) and (17-25). A lot of positives were generated this evening that will hopefully transpire into our game plan and culture that we are trying to establish. The Lady Falcons did a very solid job in terms of blocking this evening. The Lady Rebels will be in action Saturday evening at Randolph Southern with the JV match starting at 6:00 pm - Be sure to come out and support the Lady Falcons. Coach Matt
