Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) and the host Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ), saw Linden's basketball squad wallop Westfield by a tally of 83-37.

With the victory, Linden improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) to confront the Bucs in a non-league challenge on Sunday, December 18. The Bucs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Blair Academy won 65-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the St. Mary-Assumption Hilltoppers (Elizabeth, NJ) in a Union County challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Westfield will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 61-40 non-league win over Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ).
