Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cuba City overwhelms Mineral Point
December 8, 2023: Cuba City, WI 53807 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI) and the visiting Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI), saw Cuba City's basketball squad wallop Mineral Point by a tally of 64-42.
With the victory, Cuba City improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Cubans travel to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI) to play the Panthers in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-2.
Next up, the Pointers play the Riverdale Chieftains (Muscoda, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Mineral Point will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 57-45 league loss to Fennimore (Fennimore, WI).
