Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) and the host Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN), saw Hanover Central's basketball squad overcome Hobart by a tally of 45-25.

With the victory, Hanover Central improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to play the Fighting Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 22. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Lake Station Edison lost 62-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Munster (Munster, IN)

Next up, the Brickies play the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Hobart will attempt to improve on its 6-15 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 48-39 league win over Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN).
