California High School Basketball - La Mirada tops Santa Ana Valley
December 28, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92704 La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Santa Ana Valley Falcons (Santa Ana, CA), 54-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, La Mirada upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Matadores travel to El Rancho (Pico Rivera, CA) to play the Dons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Dons come into the bout with a record of 11-5. El Rancho won 41-29 in their recent non-league bout against Orange (Orange, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Santa Ana Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 47-19 non-league loss to Orange (Orange, CA).
