February 1, 2024: East Moline, IL 61244 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL) and the visiting Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), saw East Moline United's basketball squad overcome Sterling by a tally of 44-29.
With the victory, East Moline United improves its record to 21-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Quincy (Quincy, IL) to confront the Blue Devils in a Western Big 6 challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 22-5. Quincy won 52-30 in their recent league challenge against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
Next up, the Golden Warriors confront the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) in a Western Big 6 challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 12-15 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 5-20 record after their 57-52 league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL).
