In Thursday's league outing, the Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT) basketball squad felled the host Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT), by a margin of 62-47.

The Chargers (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 2 outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Herriman thwarted Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT), 49-41, in a league outing.

The Silverwolves now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bingham for a 6A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Riverton will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 52-38 league loss to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT). The Miners record now stands at 12-7.
