California High School Basketball - Golden Valley nipped by Canyon

The Canyon Cowboys tipped the visiting Golden Valley Grizzlies basketball team by a final score of 56-49 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Cowboys face the Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill game, on Friday, January 26. Canyon will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 12-11 record after their 69-67 league win over West Ranch (Valencia, CA).

With the defeat, Golden Valley moves to 17-8 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Saugus (Saugus, CA) to face the Centurions in a Foothill game on Friday, January 26. The Centurions enter the game with a record of 18-7. Saugus won 88-61 in their recent league game against Hart (Newhall, CA)
