January 30, 2024: Millinocket, ME 04462 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Schenck Wolverines basketball team scored a decisive 69-30 triumph over the Stearns Minutemen.
In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 1. Schenck will attempt to better on its 16-0 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 5-12 record after their 77-51 league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME).
With the defeat, Stearns moves to 6-10 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME) to meet the Cougars in a D North match on Saturday, February 3. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 14-2. Katahdin won 92-42 in their recent league match against Ashland (Ashland, ME)
