Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host St. Louis Sharks (St. Louis, MI), 56-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ithaca upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Millington (Millington, MI) to play the Cardinals in a Tri-Valley - Blue bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 7-3. Millington won 62-35 in their recent non-league test against Dryden (Dryden, MI)

The Sharks now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Farwell for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 23. St. Louis will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 61-19 league loss to Shepherd (Shepherd, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-10.
