Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Armstrong ripped by Fox Chapel

February 2, 2024: Kittanning, PA 16201

The Fox Chapel Foxes basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Armstrong River Hawks to 36 in the Foxes league triumph on Friday.

The Foxes now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a WPIAL 5A 2 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Fox Chapel will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 63-47 league win over Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-11.

The River Hawks (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans enter the WPIAL 5A 2 contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Shaler Area triumphed over Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 52-38, in a league contest.
