January 3, 2024: Tilden, TX 78072 Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McMullen County Cowboys (Tilden, TX), 45-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Goliad upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Tigers host San Diego (San Diego, TX) to clash with the Vaqueros in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a record of 18-5. San Diego lost 64-48 in their recent non-league bout against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. McMullen County will attempt to upgrade on its 18-5 season record.
