Mississippi High School Basketball - Nettleton overwhelms Hatley
January 30, 2018: Amory, MS 38821 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) and the host Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS), saw Nettleton's basketball squad wallop Hatley by a count of 65-31.
With the victory, Nettleton upgrades its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to play the Cougars in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 17-7. South Pontotoc lost 54-51 in their recent league challenge against Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS)
Next up, the Tigers play the Houston Hilltoppers (Houston, MS) in a 3A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Hatley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 70-62 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS).
