Mississippi High School Basketball - Aberdeen succumbs to Houston
January 30, 2018: Aberdeen, MS 39730 The Houston Hilltoppers topped the host Aberdeen Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 70-62 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS) in a 3A Region 4 game, on Friday, February 2. Houston will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 2-19 record after their 65-31 league loss to Nettleton (Nettleton, MS).
With the defeat, Aberdeen moves to 2-18 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS) to clash with the Chargers in a 3A Region 4 outing on Friday, February 2. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 12-9. Choctaw County won 58-52 in their recent non-league outing against Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS)
