Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), 7-6 in a league test.

With the win, Del Mar upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Dons travel to Gunderson (San Jose, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a Santa Teresa test on Wednesday, April 17. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 1-11. Gunderson lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA)

With the defeat, Gilroy falls to 3-14 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lincoln (San Jose, CA) to battle the Lions in a Santa Teresa test on Monday, April 15. The Lions come into the test with a record of 12-3. Lincoln won 18-0 in their recent league test against Silver Creek (San Jose, CA)
