Leonard Lancers (Greenacres, FL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Palm Beach Central Broncos (Wellington, FL), 76-70 in a league bout.

With the victory, Leonard upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Santaluces (Lantana, FL) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 6. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Santaluces lost 64-52 in their recent non-league battle against Park Vista (Lake Worth, FL)

The Broncos (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Olympic Heights (Boca Raton, FL). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Olympic Heights was nudged by Benjamin (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), 82-76, in a non-league battle.
