Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge thwarts Nature Coast Tech

December 7, 2022: New Port Richey, FL 34654

The River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) basketball knocked off the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL), 59-51 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Royal Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Coyotes go into the 5A District 6 test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Cypress Creek notched a victory over Pasco (Dade City, FL), 72-58, in a league test.

The Sharks now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Nature Coast Tech will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 71-46 non-league win over Citrus (Inverness, FL). The Bears record now stands at 4-1.
